yNEEC (youth NEEC) is the sub-conference for young people aged 11-18, attending Years 7 to 13 of secondary school. Our programme is held entirely in English, with aim to create a space through it for God to encounter; and for young people to get to know others from across the Northern UK Chinese Churches. The programme includes fun games, interactive small groups, passionate worship and informative talks from a youth speaker!
Whilst yNEEC is hosted on the same site as all other NEEC conferences, our programme is held separately from the adult conferences. This is to encourage our young people to personally take hold of their faith and explore God, with youth leaders available to help facilitate discovery and development, and to offer pastoral support.
Our vision is for young people to know Salvation through Christ Jesus, and for them to be equipped and empowered to practically take the gospel back home to share.
